(The uppermost of the two upright marble blocks near the center of the image is displaced relative to the block below. This is the case now. Note, however, that in Fig. 2 the same blocks, moved to the right, are neither displaced - so they appear to be one block - nor "painted" in the marble texture, since, in the position they occupy in that image, they must be considered hypothetical.)
