During July, Tyler Bell, M. Phil. candidate at Wolfson College, the University of Oxford, spent a couple of weeks at the CSA office learning about AutoCAD and other computer technologies.
Mr. Bell helped with the Pompeii work while at the Center, and he also helped Mr. Eiteljorg work out some of the kinks in the processes for coordinating survey data with AutoCAD.
Mr. Bell also worked with the pottery profile to see how quickly and easily one could convert the profile to a solid and obtain measurements of volume and weight from AutoCAD. His help was greatly appreciated.
